Friday Night Crock Pot Dinner

Rival 5025WG 2-1/2-Quart CrockpotFridays have become our day to go to the mall and no one wants to worry about dinner, so we throw everything into the crockpot and then head out. We arrive and somehow it all turns into something pretty yummy. And if that isn't good enough, there's just one pot to wash.

I don't know how we ever functioned without one.

Pataks Tikka Masala Cooking Sauce 15oz (Tangy Lemon & Cilantro) Here's my recipe... Chop up tons of veggies, especially potatoes, add diced frozen chicken breast, open the jar and dump the curry into the crock pot on top of  the veggies and chicken.Turn on the crock pot, go shopping and come home and dinner is done!

Wednesday

Bugatti Vera Kettle Black

Not being overly fond of tea, I now wonder if it's the temps that I use to brew my cup. At the moment I'm drinking (suffering) one cup of green tea each morning. If this kettle could make it taste better, I would be considering it. I'm off to make my cup in about 15 minutes... shudder.

Alice in Wonderland would love this! Okay, maybe it's just me...

Alice in Wonderland Tea Cup & Saucer Everyone is so excited about the new Alice in Wonderland movie... I thought that I would head off to see what I could find for my kitchen. I'm thinking that this would look cute sitting on my windowsill growing a cute little cactus! But that's just me lol...

On the other hand, I wonder if I could find some of that potion that would make me grow taller??

Monday

What's Not To Like About Meatloaf??

Raw Ground beef
2 lbs ground beef (lean)
1 c bread crumbs
1 T dried onion flakes (I started with the tablespoon, but now use a small handful)
1 egg, beaten with 1 T lemon juice, 2 T chili sauce (any spicy sauce)
salt and pepper to taste

Mix everything together and press into a greased loaf pan. Bake for a hour in 375 degree oven. Tilt the pan when you take it out of the oven to see if any oils can be poured away!
