When I first saw this I said to myself... you've got to be kidding, but then I started thinking about it. Yes, most people prefer the top of the muffin, me included, but that's not where I'm going. I just told you about the muffin batter that I just whipped up right?? Well, I'm trying to get away from adding extra fat by buttering the muffin tins so I used some plain white cup cake papers and filled those with the batter. But, I had no idea that you could get baking cups as cute as this?? My kids would have loved a plain bran muffin if I baked them in something as cute as this! Just might be a way to get your kids to eat healthy!!

I just finished mixing up a batch of muffin batter and having one of these makes more sense than turning on the oven to bake 12 muffins. Actually, I could see me using this a lot. I tend to bake more than anything else, so I really don't need a proper sized oven at all. Just something more to burn myself on!

Okay I'm hooked. I think that it was the Churros that did it. And if you haven't tried french fried sweet potato sticks... you don't know what you are missing. My husband makes them all the time and you can only eat a couple... they fill you up very quickly and seeing that I don't like sweet potatoes all that much, this is an easy way to work them into the diet!!

Did I ever mention the fact that I make my own vanilla by dropping a couple of pods, which have been opened and scraped, into a small bottle of vodka. When the vodka turns almost black (and it will take a while) you have an amazing bottle of vanilla to use in your baking. The vodka burns off in baking in case you were wondering. And because it takes so long... the minute you begin using your vodka vanilla, start another batch. I can't remember who told me how to do this, but the stuff is amazing.
And just in case you were wondering, the entire pod and scrapings go straight into the vodka to start the process.

I like the idea of this little item. Not only does it flatten your homemade tortillas or flatbreads, meaning you don't have to roll them all out by hand, it bakes them for you too. And since most flatbread recipes are primarily flour and water, you could whip yourself up one whenever you are having soup!!

You know me and knives, but I can work the bread machine... so I have that problem again... slicing the bread into proper sized slices. Cutting bagels gives me the creeps too. I'm a big fan of anything that lets me keep my fingers.

Must admit... I didn't have a clue what this was the first time I spotted it and when it turned up in my Christmas stocking... someone was watching obviously... I thought what the heck... I didn't buy it. If it doesn't work, I can throw it into the garbage and not worry about it. The thing is... it does work and amazingly well. Never again will I have to take a knife (which scares me anyway) and try to cut the skin?? from the pineapple. This does all the work for you.

Maybe it's just me, but if I put my hands into the oven... I'm going to burn myself. Doesn't matter if I have oven mitts on, I will still burn my fingers... or worse than that, I will get half the pot out of the oven, burn my fingers and then drop the pot. This looks as if it just might save dinner one night as well as my fingers.
